Subject: 9000T just taking 4 liters of oil?

hi, yesterday i changed oil on my 89 9000T for the first time, with the engine warm, i first removed the oil filter and then opened the oil drain plug. i filled the filter with fresh oil, installed it and refilled via the dipstick tube. but the car just took slightly over 4 liters and is now reading MAX at the dipstick. maybe there was some oil still in the turbo ? i remember that my old 9000 NA took around 4.5 liters atleast. also i noticed that there was some metal ring on the front arms(?) missing just after the bushing. it looked like something welded on the arm to limit movement if both bushings should break or something like that. if someone could give me a link to a pic of the front car underside i could mark it, i really dont know how to explain the place neither in german nor in english. bye simon
