Most of the time it is out but just occasionally it will come on for some time. The brakes are fine in normal use but I have realised that when the ABS light is on, the ABS is definitely inoperative. Is this a sensor problem? The following was posted on uk.rec.cars.classic. Does this make any sense applied to Saab? >In the year of ownership of my dear departed S2 XM (2.5TD) the only >electrical problem I expierenced was an intermittant 'ABS out of use' >warning, which in all fairness may well have actually been a duff >sensor... That's the "Rainy Outside" warning light. Silicone grease in the boot over the wheel sensor fixes it (which is in the Citroen factory manual, but the bloody spanner-gibbons never bother) Chas --
