As I mention in my previous mail, to test problems with lag is better to use the higher gears because engine management + ECP + ... kicks in at low gears. I believe it is intended to do so. Anyway to check your point, I floored in 3rd gear at 60mph and the boost gauge jumped to the red part in about 0.2 sec not much more than that. The car reacted accordingly.
