You've done all the right things so far. I agree about the fuel pump, it's unlikely to cause these symptoms, even if it's getting noisy. How about the ignition coil? These can start to break down intermittently, causing similar symptoms. You don't say what year it is - if it has a hall-effect distributor, it could be either a failing sensor or a failing connector (black plug on the side of the dissy). If it isn't, how are the points? Given all the stuff you've already replaced, these are my only guesses (apart from a bad fuel regulator, but I've never seen that before). -- Grunff
