Unlike in the C900, the sound from the dash speakers which judging by the size of their grille must be tiny, is feeble and tinny. They could be dispensed with if there were decent units in the door. I know about the additional amplifier and have no intention of adding one. I could wire the speakers in series, try to find 8ohm speakers -probably not easy- or just parallel them and wait until the horrible Blaupunkt cd receiver blows its output chips. I don't want trim-loosening sound levels, just something that doesn't sound like a cheap tranny. Chas --
