I have a 9-3SE 2001MY with a rear toe in question. While having the front end aligned, the technician informed me that the rear left wheel was toed in .2 degrees more than the rear right. I have inquired with the SAAB/GM dealer in Canada who indicated that this was well within the allowable tolerances of SAAB. In fact they allow up to .5 degrees! He also said that the only way to rectify this was by shimming the entire rear assembly - a 2-3 hour job (approx. $250-300Cdn). Now I am sure that the car has never hit anything as all my rims new and OEM were never scraped or dented. Does anyone have an opinion on this?
