Hi Andy, You need to have access to a Tech-2 diagnostic tool to 'marry' your spare key fob to your car - it may be possible to change the alarm behaviour too e.g. change time-out values - I'm not sure. Plugging in the Tech-2 may reveal some stored error codes that may help you find out whats going on. Usually this involves going to a dealer as most independant mechanics will not have the Tech-2 equipment. Your dealer may or may not charge for this 'service'. My dealer didn't charge to diagnose and reset the external temperature sensor error I had a while ago. Some independants and the larger independant specialists do have the Tech-2 equipment - the man I use is hoping to get hold of one soon - so look/phone around. Hope this points you in the right direction.
