I suppose the price would depend on how complex the job would be and how much finishing and polishing you want done. The only issue would be safety/liability due to using a custom made/untested part. If there was a accident and the machined rail broke, resulting in injuries, what would you or your survivors do? In theory, Recaro has designed and tested their seats and adapter rails to some safety standard.
