You can get BOV's that are a hybrid of both atmospheric and plum-back. This is supposed to stop problems with air sensors, as some of the air is recirculated, yet you still get the noise. Go Fast Bits make two types: the hybrid and the stealth. The stealth you can adjust the amount of plum-back or atmospheric that you want. All the best, Brett Thear "Atlantis" <usernopsamin.com> wrote in message news:b04s6e$nbv$1nopsam.ihug.co.nz... > If your car does have an air mass meter (I know nothing about Saabs), you > may find that your car will stall when you let off the accelerator, as the > computer is expecting a big rush of air from the turbo that it won't get > anymore, and in turn, screws up the fuel mixture causing your engine to > stall. > I have seen this happen on a few cars. > > If you have a car like mine with a MAP (manifold air pressure) sensor, you > needn't worry, as it is measured further down the inlet chain, and it won't > stall if you vent to atmosphere. > > Atlantis. > > "O_P" <protossinopsamail.com> wrote in message > news:01c2bc84$fdd27b90$e75b3a0anopsamb-va-w0598... > > Hi > > I just noticed my compressor bypass valve (CBV) has gone bad.
