I know I said I would hold out for the right Classic 900 T16, but a 9000 Turbo has been offered locally to me in the Loot ads paper. No tax or MOT, alternator failed. 100GBP, runs well, good shape, red (the ad has been changed but it originally said 900 Turbo 1.6SDM) Guy didn't seem to know too much about the car, but as I can make he is selling it as a 16v 2 litre turbo injection (His description) the loot ad was a little vague. but I think it translates to a 16v 5door M reg. Haven't looked yet. How expensive and iddificult a job is a 9k alternator, assuming, if I go to look at it, it at least stands a cats chance of passing an MOT. Really wanted a 900, but if I could get a solid if rough looking 9k for that kind of silly money, I would be a fool not to get into it (even with the extra clutch change hassle). -- Carl Robson http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
