Ken, I have a 1998 9-5 with ACC and had a problem with the heating system last year, I hope for you you don't have the same problem!!. The driver side of the ACC was not functioning, it was blowing cold air, no matter what temperature setting I used. When re-calibrating the ACC as per the driver's instruction manual, fault code "08" appeared. I brought the car to the local Saab dealer to get it fixed. They found that one of the air regulating valves was either broken off or that its operating rod was broken. It appeared that could not be replaced and that the whole heating housing had to be changed out. This meant that the whole dashboard would have to be removed as well. The cost for this operation were +/- Dfl 5500.= (+/-US$ 2500.=)!! Since the car was just over 3 years, I tried to get at least some warranty. The Dutch Saab Importer refused any refund as I had bought the car abroad. Then I approached Saab Sweden and refferred to world wide guarantee. I got a reply that they felt very sorry but also refused to pay any refund!!! Really hope for you your problem is much easier to fix............ gr Gert "Ken" <kadamsnopsamnt.ca> schreef in bericht news:vWk%9.1342$Wy1.9434nopsamcontent-01.sprint.ca... > The dual zone heater on my 99 9-5 only blows cold on the driver's side. > Everything else, A/C, vents other heat works fine.
