It appears that the 9-3 coupe in any trim level is 185HP. You can call 1-800-Saabusa with a VIN to make sure if you want. http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/models/1999/9993pr1.html FWIW, there is not a _lot_ of difference in performance between the two motors. Even the 185HP will plant you in your seat. These motors have a lot more mid range torque than most all cars with similar HP. Take one out on the highway and run up 2nd and 3rd gear a little as you come off the ramp and you'll put a smile on your face. It takes a little practice with the turbo to make them go fast off the line. Bob
