All three of them are quite excellent winter cars. I myself live in Lillehammer, Norway, where we always have long, cold, and snowy winters. My personal choice has been an Audi A6Q, which I now drive, but my choice was between the A6Q and the brand new SAAB 9-3 Sport Sedan or the 9-5. I almost went for the new 9-3 Sport Sedan, but ended up with the Audi after all. This is a matter of personal preference. SAABs are ultimate winter cars. The Volvo V60 is of course also an excellent choice. But the best choices just might be the Japanese Subies. Both the Subaru Legacy AWD and the Impreza AWD are just great in winter. Here we also use mostly studded tires in winter. The combination of studded tires and 4WD gives me an unbeatable road grip at all times in winter here.
