Subject: Little bit confused.

On the throttle body of my 900 T16, I appear to have another hose connector. Large bore hose, not the slim vacuum hose. It has a stub of hose attached to it but goes nowhere. On all the T16 engine pics I've seen, this isn't any of the normal ones. It appears to be an extra connectoron the left hand side of the throttle body (looking toward the windscreen). I have tried to see if there is any blow or suck through this connector, but there doesn't appear to be. Also where is the recirculating valve/dump valve on a T16. I have a hose that goes from the alternator end of the head/engine (underneith the intake manifold) to the pipe that runs between the air meter and the turbo. But it goes into a straight foward connector. Further down that pipe is another open connector that has a smallish drum and also goes into the intake pipe, but doesn't appear to have anything hooked up to it. Also along the edge of the cam cover (where the engine is canted over) I have a whole bunch of cables wrapped up in a loom. There appear to be about six electrical connections that don't have anywhere to connect to. Some appear to be ordinary spade connectors, but some are the plastic covered saab ones. Everything appears to work as normal. All the insruments appear to measure what they are supposed to. I'm more than slightly confused. -- Carl Robson (The poster formerly known as Skodapilot) http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
