As for the engine swap, it's certainly possible (I've seen a swapped 99), but it's a fair bit of work. The biggest headaches are provided by: [a] You have to modify the bulkhead (firewall) to accomodate the H engine. [b] You have to use most of the wiring loom from the 900. [c] You will need a custom made exhaust (not too difficult if you can weld). [d] If you want to include an intercooler (which you definitely would if your'e interested in performance), there's not a lot of room. IMO there's not a great deal to be gained from modifying a 99 in this way. I like 99s a lot, but if your ultimate goal is performance, consider a 900 16vT saloon - virtually the same car, but with most of the work done for you. It makes a much better starting point for mods. -- Grunff
