Make sure he rules out the simpler options first - I had a '96 900 which similarly had an annoying whistle at 60+ mph - in my case it was a piece of "chrome" trim on the radiator intake grille which was vibrating - tested it by wrapping all "loose" bits with tape to kill the vibration.
