Some of us "Older Skoda" nutters would rather buy other brands than admit to owners a VW skoda. While they brought the finish/materials/marketting upto date, they lost a lot of the charm that actually made Skoda the success story that it was. It was laughed at in the UK because it was different and looked old fashioned, and cheap, when it was far from the cheap, and the engineering was very sound. -- Carl Robson The poster formally known as Skodapilot. http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
