Where they wear out is the plastic base inside where a metal clip works. Can't really repair then (though I have... using a soldering iron and melting the plastic back into shape.) I've also swapped the AC for one of the other, less used switches (they all have the same back end). Best, really, to just buy a replacement :) -- cm -90 900
