If that's the case, and you're getting good braking efficiency but no handbrake, then I really wouldn't bother - I spent *way* too long messing around with handbrake mechanisms to suggest otherwise. Bite the bullet and get a replacement caliper. In addition to motor factors, it's worth giving NeoBros a ring, they sometimes do good deals on calipers. -- Grunff
