Pull the engine - replace the chains and pumps - fix the crack as there is no pan to replace as I had earlier incorrectly thought.. I remain concerned that no matter what is done - the crack will continue to migrate with every oil change myself.. There has got to be a cheap rebuilt engine somewhere if Tom's body is still in good shape.. I've discovered over the years that it's sometimes cheaper simply to swap out the whole drive drive if you can find a rusty donor somewhere.. It's one of pre-GM SAAB's charms really - most things fit between years.. -- J Dexter - webmaster - http://www.dexterdyne.org/ all tunes - no cookies no subscription no weather no ads no news no phone in - RealAudio 8+ Required - all the Time Radio Free Dexterdyne Top Tune o'be-do-da-day Clapton - The Band - Further On Up the Road http://www.dexterdyne.org/888/091.RAM
