When I'm tweaking, I usually > plumb in the extra gauge anywhere near the throttle body, and > that works fine. 'spose not :) I have a choice of 5 (smaller 3-4mm bore): 1. Distributor to throttle body. 2. Throttle body to (stub) between the injectors. 3. (Stub) between the injectors to something underneath the the throttle body in-front of the oil filter. (Good technical terms, eh?) 4. Further towards the windscreen on the intake manifold to under the thermostat. This one also goes to the brake servo. 5. Even further towards the windscreen to cam cover (PCV). I think 3 is probably best for both. It's probably closest to the throttle plate and I think this pipe was missing on my first 900 turbo - it was certainly blocked off with a short pipe and a screw at the throttle side. On Orca, this pipe does hold suction at idle, so it's doing something but probably not much. I also have a blocked off (factory fitted, by the looks of it) wider bore (12-15mm) hole, presumably part of the A/C or cruise which is not fitted to mine. Could I unblock this one and use it for the boost gauge and t-in the BOV vac line? It seems a nice bore to supply the gauge :) On the same subject, once the BOV is fitted to the intake pipe and t-ed into a vac line, is it wise to block off the re-circulation pipe from the APC solenoid and the hole on the air filter to turbo pipe? I've seen a picture on Saab Central forums where the pipe is blocked, but I couldn't see what they'd done to the R hose from the APC solenoid. Paul
