In article <BAA0719F.4C7D%pjghnopsamyonder.co.uk>, pjghnopsamyonder.co.uk says... > The rear box is well clear. My problem is more the mid-section scraping over > speed bumps. When I'm the only person in the car, it's just the midflaps > that scrape but when it's loaded or carrying passengers ... Ouch! > I think it might be the mid box on mine that is actually catching too, because it has done it on one particularly high speed bump, while I have been in the car alone, with no rear load. I lifts the system enough for the hanger to be popped out of the rubber hook on the rear box. I don't think that longer rubber hooks have been used because to re-fit it back on is a real muscle job, but you can just about get under enough to do it without a jack. maybe I should be thinking about getting a stainless single box system, and miss out that middle box :0 If it ain't there, it can't catch, and it will sound so much sweeter. -- Carl Robson The poster formally known as Skodapilot. http://www.bouncing-czechs.com
