I had some wierd problems with windows and found that they went away when I checked to see if the motor was still properly mounted in the door - which it was not.. Not that I hold it against her - hard lived 1989 9000T - 312,000km and counting.. There's a lot of force in play and the pully system seems to put quite a strain on the interior safety bridge on the door.. I don't know if it's the same with the 900 - but I had these odd rubberized nuts holding the motors in the panel - one had failed and so the motor wasn't lined up anymore and wouldn't turn.. I think all I did rebolt the motor and it's been humming along since.. Anyway - I'd be surprised if the motor itself had failed too - bet it's the mount or an upstream wire overloaded when someone didn't wait for the car to warm up with the windows frozed in - like myself after a particularly icy day here in 'Nova Scotia' (ancheint native MicMac for 'What-AGAIN!).. I've seen more lightly built starter motors.. Check the track and the pully wires first for looseness or rust.. After that - it'll very probably be less of a gas to pick-up a new door than to replace the whole window mechinism.. I can't for the life of me figure out how they got the window system in there in the first place.. I'm willing to trade it off for the bridgework and upper door member though.. -- J Dexter - webmaster - http://www.dexterdyne.org/ all tunes - no cookies no subscription no weather no ads no news no phone in - RealAudio 8+ Required - all the Time Radio Free Dexterdyne Top Tune o'be-do-da-day Bill Monroe - Blue Moon of Kentucky http://www.dexterdyne.org/888/009.RAM
