NO NO NO NO!!!! It is definetely NOT the steering column switch. If the light is coming on the dash it must be doing something. It is most definitely the relay which is located under the Hood of the car. I'm not sure what relay there is "behind the glovebox"??/ I had an 88 9000 turbo with problems with the low beams and it was a case of jiggling the Under Hood relay please - look around under the hood for those relays before you go tearing your dash appart good luck!
