I have a 1996 900 SE, and even replacing the bulb is a pain in the
neck. When mine burned out, I ended up taking the car to the dealer,
and having them do it. I don't understand the comment below about a
sealed unit, and I think I paid about $45 to have the dealer replace the
bulb. It took about half an hour, and I don't understand how replacing
the whole unit would take two hours. Perhaps the dealers have some
special tools.
