Oops, sorry, I meant "made" as in "created", not "produced". >Money talks. Thus if you want to sell lots of cars you have to offer >what people want. If they want SUV's they get SUV's, it's that simple. OK, but that would be the big advantage of a huge brand line-up like GM has. A tailored brand for each market-segment, the GM way (cross-platformism) is hurting the brands' images. In the end the money ends up in the same corporate pocket anyway. Ford understand this trick better, I havn't seen a Jaguar or even a Lincoln SUV yet (or........?) >You forgot a more recent attempt with the Cadilac Catera. Yep. I had to laugh when I saw some reviews (or was it an advertisement) about that one... "Out now, Cadillac's autobahn eating Catera..." or something stupid like that. And a clever journalist added (I think it was in Road&Track magazine) something like: "Sadly for GM: the only rear-wheel drive model from their US flagship brand is a rebadged European sibling..." But the fun is not over yet, I saw the successor to the Catera at the Autorai, the CTS! A toal miss. I don't know why they even bother bringing that model to Europe. It's so damn ugly, I'm sure it won't sell squat! Nel
