Subject: '72 Saab 96

I came across an old 1972 Saab 96 earlier today while in my local car bone yard. It was a fairly complete car with only minor items missing (taillights and such). No rust as it is a southern car. My question is this: Is it worth fixing up? I mean are these older Saabs a collector type item or are they akin to an old Chevy? I have restored numerous air-cooled VWs so I understand restoration etc. Can anyone tell me if there is a great society of old Saab owners out there? Thanks to my Saab friends. Air Rulz
