Hello, I just got a 1991 900, red, 2.0L, non-turbo. I previously owned a 1997 900SE, which was totaled. Comparing the two cars, I can say something that many of you already know: NG900, in particularly the turbo, is an awfully nice car, has the comforts and the performance - but not the true Saab panache. The classic that I just got lacks some of the comforts of the NG900, but there is smells Saabish through and through! The classic 900 is perhaps one of the most interesting mass-produced cars of the 80's and 90's. I will probably still buy the new Saabs as a nice comfortable appliance to go to work, go skiing and backpacking. But for fun, I will stick with the old cars. Thanks, -Dima
