Maybe. I bought my 1993 Saab 9000 CSE secondhand now 6 years ago from a private seller. It was a bit of a risk, but I figured that owners of upmarket cars are less likely to trash them. The car did have a few problems which I had fixed by a competent garage, but it was still worthwhile. It it still going strong and in perfect condition. Not only does it give transport in style, but it is in fact very inexpensive motoring. Johannes
