Yes to all of the above. In fact I have a beige Power Macintosh G3 that
has almost no original parts left in it. (New CPU, New RAM, New hard disk,
New video card, New CD-RW). Apple has been using IDE drives for a long
time now, though you can get SCSI as an option if you prefer the
performance.
