Hi, > How would you be left holding the bag? I know a lot of people that lease > cars successfully and don't feel burned afterwards. You make sure that > there is warranty service for the period of the lease, make sure you select > the correct number of miles. How can people go wrong? Are they leasing > Bentleys or something? youre showing us the point , exactly, people that wouldnt be able to purchase the car new are leasing it, what means that they are probably not able to keep up with the costs that result from that like servicing, things not covered by warranty and maybe even the cost for the gas (atleast here in europe) you dont imagine how much it can cost if your SUV needs 15 liters/100 km (around 20mpg i guess) and those 20/245 tires every 40.000 km and they are like 200$ a piece. its just stupid to watch people pay the deprecation of the car maybe 50% in 4 years and then give it back when they could have financed the same car 4 years old and held back 1500$ for repairs for aroudn the same monthly payment, given that rates are so low right now anyways. bye simon
