Yes, and this is exactly why it's important to buy from someone with a fantastic buyer rating. If someone has sold hundreds or thousands of cars, and has a 99%+ positive rating, I'd have no hesitation at all of buying a car from them on ebay. An individual seller, without much or any history? I'd probably pass, or at a minimum insist on some sort of Escrow arrangement for the payment. Dave Hinz
