I wanted to thank all the people that responded when I posted this initial query about the used Saab that just kept draining the battery overnight. The FIRST problem I deduced after buying a voltmeter and checking the battery was that even at full charge, the old battery was only putting out 8 volts. So I got a new battery, put it in and tested all the fuses in the box under the hood. None were passing current. When I tested two in the passive restraint system, they were. Of course once I got the seat out and got back there, I could HEAR the passive retraint motor running, so this was obviously a problem. I pulled the fuses on the passive restraints; I might get it fixed, might just go with the lap belts. Dunno yet. There is still a TINY draw from the battery, like 5 millivolts, when the car is off. But with a little clock and a flashing red light for the radio, I figured this might explain it. Should this concern me? It didn't die overnight, so I finally got to enjoy a drive to work! =-) Thanks to you guys! I had never owned or used a voltmeter, so I really feel like I've learned something! Amy
