Driving with heavy snow blowing toward you they are needed. I hang around dirt race tracks and everything gets a good coating of dust. Nice to flip a switch and have it all disappear. Some places you get lots of bugs on all available surfaces. But if I were still living in Southern California and washed the car once a week, I probably wouldn't be to worried about whether the headlamp wipers worked or not. lauraknopsamousergraphics.com http://www.madmousergraphics.com web design, print design, photography
