Hi, You had questions about parts, etc. I'm more familiar with Saab 9000's early 90's models, but I've had reliable results getting parts online from: www.saabnet.com (my first choice) www.genuinesaab.com (Talfiero Saab of Missouri) If you have a local used Saab repair shop (independent) that seems to work on the community's older Saabs - with good results - consider that. You might save some $$. Do check if any dealer offered warranty will expire as a result of doing that, though. A list of Saab mechanics is at: http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/faq/service/ Also, if you ever experience trouble with your tranny, dig up the actual tranny cost at Eriksson Industries - that is where most transmission shops will get your Saab transmission from - other than a Saab dealership, who may get it direct from Saab USA or Saab Sweden. http://www.erikssonindustries.com/saab_page.htm If you are into aftermarket performance parts, try Genuine Saab or: www.abbottracing.com (British Saab performance company, has dealers in Canada and USA) www.speedparts.se (Swedish with Genuine Saab as USA dealer).
