I seem to recall that in the USA in '99, the 185 was the standard 2.0 turbo, the 200 was the 2.0 HOT (just a different chip programming, IIRC, and the Viggen (Europe Aero) was the 2.3 230HP. Most of us with Turbo's burn premium (93 in most of the USA). The engine will compensate for lower octane by reducing the boost so you won't damage it but you will lose a lot of power. Turbo engines are particularly sensitive to octane/knocking because of the positive input pressure. Bob
