Subject: Re: CD Changer Troubles, what homemade tools do you use...

I had trouble taking out my stereo on my old 9000 using just the nail method... I've seen the tool to pull the stereo out at a number of stores that sell car audio stuff (Best-Buy, Circuit City, Wal-Mart), this is in the northeast, so I'm not sure about the rest of the country. I can't remember which store I saw them in, but it was one of these (Sorry about that... but I want to say it was wal-mart, is that right? They're there, just look around). I did get the nail method to work after much figiting and pulling, I'd reccomend getting something with a long flat edge to help pry the radio out from the sides (a screwdriver might scratch the radio up). Good Luck with getting it out. -Chris '94 900SE V6 '99 9-3 '87 9000S (I miss her already :*-( "Matt Willmarth" <matt_willmarthnopsamnet.net> wrote in message news:_3gwa.782$ap7.72937630nopsamsvr21.news.prodigy.com... > to pull out the head?
