Large gear puller - hook it around the disk (you don't mention a year or model, so I'm being a bit vague), and apply some force with the screw. Let 'er sit for a while, come back, give it another, continue until things break (at which point it either gets easier or harder; the cast iron disk will break before anything else though). In my case, it got easier - the disk broke rather than came loose, but the crack went to the center hole, so the whole thing dropped off at that piont. > Suggestions? No, probably not much - you'll probably have to take the sheet metal brake shield out of the way to get the hooks of the gear puller behind the disk, though. Dave Hinz
