The real problem is rust! Rust around the sunroof seam slowly forces the metal out - squeezing the sunroof ever so slightly, and thus the motor has to strain to open and close it... If the fuse blows - try uprating it 5 or 10amps I guess the solution might be to check the drain plugs and make sure they're clear... also perhaps to spray some rust proof up into roof all around the opening. As for lubricant?? silicone lube? I'll leave that to someone else to answer good luck herbert
