Subject: Turbo hesitation

Maybe one of you guys can help me: My 1986 900T has some issues with the turbo. When the car is cold I can step on the gas and just get pushed into my seat right up to the redline on the boost guage. But as the engine heats up, the turbo becomes hesitant to the point where it is almost usless and actually hurts performance. It will sputter when I give it gas and the engine looses power until I back off. When it does this I cannot go more than halfway into the orange section of the boost guage. Any ideas (or idears as they say here) what might be the possible problem and answer? Jeremy B
