Thanks for informing me of this Grunff. I wish that they would design all vehicles to heat up this fast then people wouldn't have to let them warm up for 15 minutes (or more) in the winter. Thanks for any advice, It's normal. When the thermostat is closed (engine cold), all the heat from the engine goes into heating up the block, the coolant in the block, and the heater matrix (core). SHouldn't take more than 3 minutes running before the matrix is nice and hot. -- Grunff
