As Grunff says, but if there's even a vague possibility that it's the lights, it might be worth trying them first, as it's a much easier job. You can get at them by removing the speaker cover above the dash. There are two bulbs at the top, and you get them out by turning them 90 degrees and pulling. The only difficulty I remember from doing it is that the speaker cover can be a bit fiddly to pull out, as there's a metal clip underneath as well as the screws (torx?) on top.
