Someone who looks an awful lot like MJW <apam03nopsampipex.com> wrote: (...a repost of an email sent privately from me to him, which is an extreme breach of good behavior.) > Why don't you just pull the fuse as several of us have advised, and > get on with it? Because you emailed me a rant, to my email account. The real cost would include lawyer costs, not just the electronics. If a car that you are looking at doesn't meet your needs or expectations, find one that does. > I don't care whether it is nanny state or nanny manufacturer - > there are no moral grounds for denying citizens choices. > And as for you being our local mechanic GOD HELP US from that awful > prospect. You have choices. Go deal with the car you have, or get a different one with a switch in the dashboard to turn off the airbag. You want a switch, I want lights & sirens from the factory. Guess what? Doesn't come that way, so I had to install my own lights and sirens. Ah well. You don't see me here ranting that Saab is EMT and Firefighter-unfriendly, just because the siren and light kits aren't available from them, do you? > If you don't like my reply > just shup up and get on with your life!!! This has _got_ to be a troll post. OK, good one, you got me. Dave Hinz
