You have to look at it from their point of view. If they disconnect the airbag and someone gets hurt, then they could face litigation if they couldn't prove that it was done for a good reason. If the car had a switch, then it is a different matter because the decision to switch off is no longer in the hand of the manufacturer. Maybe Saab is wrong not to have an airbag switch, but you can't take that out on the dealer, he is a long long way away from the designer. Write to Saab with some constructive suggestions. Maybe a switch with a clearly visible signal if the airbag is not engaged. Have a nice day. Johannes
