About a month ago I bought a 87 9000s automatic on Ebay for $450. I put over 1k on it since then & it still runs good but there are quirks like a bad AC compressor & the tranny slips occassionally. In general the 9000 automatic trannys are known to go bad between 125K-175K so make sure that you treat it gently. www.quasimotors.com is a great site for facts about the 9000. Mark
