You say that you only removed one screw but if it's anything like my 87 9000 then you actually have 2 retaining screws. One is a torx screw & the other is the aligning pin screw/bolt (usually takes a 10mm wrench to remove it) which is there to guide you for screwing in the lugnuts when mounting the tire. This aligning screw goes through the rotor/disc & then screws into the hub assembly (which is what I replaced). Until I figured that out mine wouldn't budge either but even at that I had to 'persuade' it with a couple of gentle but firm taps of a sledge hammer. I tired using a regular hammer but it didn't have the mass & density. Mark "I have a 1998 9-5 and need to change the front discs. I managed to remove the retaining screw, calipers etc but then found the disc impossible to budge. Does anyone know of the best way of removing the disc when this happens? For the meantime, I have reassembled the old disc. thanks, Ken
