: idler pulley" issue. The serpentine belt runs across two idler
: pulleys. The upper one wears out somewhere after 45K miles. If yours
: has more than 45K miles, you should replace it and the serp belt.

Yep, the 2.3 has this issue. I had the upper idler pulley disintegrate on
me within a month after I got mine (used).
