Subject: Question re '95 9000CDE Auto Trannie

I have noticed recently that the shift from third to fourth is either delayed or does not occurr at all at a road speed of 45mph. I can force it to shift by lifting my foot from the accelerator momentarily, however if you apply even the least pressure to the accelerator at the 45mph speed, the tranny shifts back to third. The down shift is not nearly so annoying as the delayed upshift, which will not occurr until well past 65mph without help. Is this a real problem? Is there an inexpensive fix that I can do for myself, I don't have a SAAB mechanic within 2 hours of here. I am located in Ocala, FL
