The harness can be lengthened by simply cutting the multi-plug at the back of the head unit and splicing longer wires in. The wires will all drop down the passenger side of the centre of the dash. You might take the opportunity to fit some inline fuses as well and get you mobile phone wired in. Use 5 amp connectors for the splicing. If you're a "sporty" driver, locating the head unit down to the lower DIN slot means you can operate it without taking your hand off the gear stick. With the top DIN slot now empty, find yourself some nice gauges or a coffee cup holder. A hunt round the scrap yards will glean some interesting things to do with your empty DIN slot :) Paul 1989 900 Turbo S http://saab.go.dyndns.org/
