I asked how. To answer your question, it would not. In both of my 9000's the timing chains were stretched (as compared to a new one) one way past spec and one right at the replacement spec, but the balance chains were not stretched. Apparently the smaller balance chaion has very little load on it turning the two small balance shafts.
